  • To work with suppliers, colleagues and team members to provide an excellent service.
  • Process and maintain data so that it is current and accurate, communicate efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as the key point of contact in relation to supply of product, to liaise with suppliers, sales and other departments, demonstrating excellent communication.
  • Ensure high standards of service level in all aspects of the job role to promote and support smooth and efficient running of the business.


Main Duties:

  • Managing a range of suppliers.
  • Monitoring demand and supply planning.
  • Administration of purchase orders for suppliers.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers in relation to various aspects of purchase order processing.
  • Manage and reconcile the open order book with suppliers, and follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Obtain inbound delivery schedules and liaise internally with colleagues.
  • Daily communication with internal and external sales on availability and any other enquiries.
  • Deal with day to day phone calls and emails into the department giving accurate and prompt feedback.
  • Coordinate phasing out discontinued products and the introduction of new products.
  • Identify slow moving or discontinued product and take action, as directed.
  • Work with other departments to resolve issues.



  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent using MS Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Able to provide excellent customer service at all levels.
